With today's problems that grower's face, Seed Solutions, along with its parent company IPECO are bringing new technology's to the table, designed to improve all aspects of production via seed coating enhancing the overall process from start to finish. Resulting in value adding in one of its simplest forms through the use of high quality filmcoats, encrustmenst and pelleting.

The equation is simple, really, by adding a coating you are changing the seeds characteristics maximizing the planting efficiency be it:

Filmcoating - a dust-free coating assisting in product identification and placement after sowing. Provides a smoother finish increasing seed flowability, reduced static and clumping.

Encrustment - a minimum low-dust coating creating a smoother surface and more uniformed shape providing increased seed flowability and accurate delivery. or Pelleting - a low density pellet providing a bigger, smoother more heavier rounded uniformed shape allowing for perfect singlation and spacing for both direct field and nursery sowings.

A combination of fungicides, insecticides and nutrients are also incorporated into the coat to help protect the emerging seedling from a range of fungal attacks and help crop establishment.

Seed Solutions offers a fully functional seed testing laboratory which was primarily developed to partner the coating aspect of our business as a quality assurance measure. Every seed batch coated is routinely sampled and tested for its germination capacity and compared to its pre-treatment counterpart through the lab. The sample of every seed batch was then also stored for another two years as a further quality assurance measure.

After the labs inception, our customers soon found the results of these test invaluable for stock control and buyer satisfaction and so the germination tests were made available to our clients at a small fee.
